Code of Ethics

and do not solicit or receive any form of monetary or non-monetary benefit from customers or counterparties. -
We do not use company property for personal purpose.
If there is a conflict with the interests of an individual during the performance of work, the company's interests should be considered first.
To practice the above code of ethics, separate ethical regulations are established and implemented.
To build a responsible supply chain, Korea Zinc is participating in a global effort to secure a legal and ethical supply of gold and silver.
Overview of Responsible Minerals Supply Chain Management Policy
- In 2012, U.S. “Dodd-Frank Act” announced: Mandatory disclosure of conflict minerals and origin information
- In 2015, The European Parliament passed a bill to ban importation of conflict minerals
Korea Zinc’s Responsible Supply Chain Management Policy
(Effective as of : Oct, 1st, 2016)-
Korea Zinc never use conflict minerals (tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold and silver) produced through anti-human processes or involved in accounting fraud.
- To establish a responsible supply chain, Korea Zinc is participating in a global effort to secure a legal and ethical supply of gold and silver free from crime, armed conflict and human rights abuses.

We strictly comply with the following policies based on honesty and transparency in our corporate activities.
- There is no tolerance policy on direct or indirect bribery and corruption, and we are comply with general rules on anti-bribery, anti-corruption and money laundering.
- We do not conduct money laundering or tax evasion, and we are making every effort to prevent money laundering related to conflict minerals.
- We never accept gold/silver supplies from sources that have been involved in armed conflict and human rights abuses.

Korea Zinc promises not to contribute to the following in accordance with the Responsible Supply Chain Management Policy.
- Torture, abuse, child abuse, coercion, forced labor
- Violation of freedom, violation of human rights, abuse of human rights
- War crimes, violations of international humanitarian law, crimes against humanity, genocide,
- Bribery, corruption, money laundering

Korea Zinc implements the items below for responsible supply chain management.
- If raw materials are sourced from conflict and hazardous areas, we will conduct a Due Diligence Survey on the supplier in accordance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidelines and the same
- procedure for sub-suppliers to run reliability and risk identification assessments will be followed.
- We will purchase conflict minerals in accordance with the Responsible Supply Chain Management Policy, provide due diligence survey information to prove this, and request cooperation from the supplier.
- We promise not to do business with suppliers that do not comply with our Responsible Supply Chain Management Policy.
- We aim to maintain long-term partnerships with suppliers to increase the leverage role of responsible supply chain management for suppliers.
