Antimony is a highly toxic metalloid used in flame retardants and lead storage battery plates.
Flame retardant (mainly Sb2O3), lead alloy (lead storage battery plates, bullet, power line coating material, acid-resistant valve), tin alloy, a catalyst for PET production, special glass manufacturing, and pigments.
